GARMENT RENDERS

The  Process and The Outcomes

As myself and my team are working in different areas of the world we have stayed connected and collaborated at every step of this project virtually via zoom.

Katie and I began developing the initial garment blocks into more realised designs by incorporating colours from the original design brief and began assigning graphics and more importantly, fabric surface textures which will effect the drape and look of the garment, resulting in maximum realism in the final garment renderings. FINAL GARMENT RENDERINGS

Please see below high resolution 3d garment renderings ready for outfit building and animation

THIS STAGE IS COMPLETE

These images are the final garment renderings. As you can see above, these renderings are significantly more lifelike than that of the conventional 2D CAD adobe illustrator designs that were demonstrated with in my initial design brief and that are more commonly used in fast fashion design today.

There is a clear visual difference in garment surface texture between woven / outerwear and fleece / jersey styles however with more time and resources I would have loved to create more intricate designs and experimented with a broader range of fabrication rendering techniques with Katie.

These final renders will now move to outfit building and animation stage
